The Internet is constantly changing, but remember that the true goal of the search algorithm is to reward useful content and content of value. Invest your energy into creating strategies that are more than just “link building” and “keyword placement.”

Sometimes in our technical studies I wonder if we do not get so caught up in our hunt for new traffic, that we don’t really quite see the bigger picture. Algorithm are not there to work “against” you and keep your content from surfacing.

As important as fine tuning your specific SEO skills are, so is it important to understand that Search Engines are not the enemy, like so many others want you to believe.

You are not waging war against the search engines (in any place but your own mind.) And only that because someone told you that you are at war. It’s not true.
