Did you know Google’s Search Engine Robot is pretty old?
Why do you suppose Google and other search engines, hardly ever update their search engine robots or come introduce newer robots with new functionality?
The reason is simple. The older robots do the job just as well as they always
have and that’s because the robot’s job never changes. The robot basically exists to simply capture content and links and return it to the search engine.
Actually I don’t think Google bots are old, they are being updated to be able to see or read through javascripts and flash files recently though they have not made any significant progress on this area, its something Google works on to make it perfect at some point of time.
